Sustainability in Action

Data centres are the most efficient and sustainable home for our digital economy.

Efficiency is at the heart of sustainability for data centres. By optimising energy use, reducing emissions, and minimising waste, we lower our environmental impact while maintaining high-performance data centre operations.

Optimised Energy Efficiency

Our environments optimise data centre layout and airflow, including rack containment systems to separate hot and cold air to reduce energy consumption and improve cooling efficiency. By integrating free cooling heat exchange systems and leveraging AI-powered optimisation, we continuously refine our operations to uphold our design PUE of 1.28 at our newest facilities and enhance overall efficiency.

Waste Reduction & Recycling

We take a responsible approach to waste management. Our robust waste management programs ensure that IT hardware is disposed of and refurbished responsibly. We work with our vendors and customers to uphold strict waste management protocols. These minimise landfill contributions by prioritising recycling, repurposing, and sustainable disposal practices across our data centres.

Sustainable Innovation

We stay ahead of the curve with the latest innovations in data centre sustainability. We’re Australia’s pioneers in supporting liquid-cooled environments, leading to improved PUE outcomes for our customers. We also use advanced heat mapping tools powered by AI to map airflow and optimise thermal efficiency across our data centres.

Renewable Energy Mix

We integrate renewable sources into our operations, including generating onsite solar power. As we expand our footprint, we are committed to sourcing additional renewable energy options, further reducing our carbon footprint and supporting Australia’s clean energy transition.

Industry Certifications & Recognition.

We uphold the highest sustainability and operational standards, demonstrated through our industry-leading certifications.

Decarbonisation: Our Path to Net Zero.

We are committed to a transparent and responsible decarbonisation pathway.

Our decarbonisation targets align to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Corporate Net-Zero Standard for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, while working towards Scope 3 alignment.

To reduce our carbon footprint, we invest in Australian Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs), which support renewable energy projects like wind and solar farms. These certificates are verified by the Australian Federal Government’s Clean Energy Regulator, ensuring credibility and impact. We are also exploring Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and other renewable energy options to further drive sustainability in our operations.

Safety: A No-Risk Approach.

Our guiding principle is simple–everyone goes home safe, every day.

Our outstanding safety track record is a testament to our culture of accountability and continuous improvement. From stringent risk assessments to industry-leading safety training, we go above and beyond compliance to create a zero-harm workplace.

Certified Safety.

We maintain an ISO 45001-certified Occupational Health & Safety Management System and comply with the WHS Act. All personnel complete site-specific safety inductions and training, including virtual reality fire extinguisher exercises. High-risk tasks follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and our proactive safety culture is reinforced through toolbox talks, incident reviews, leadership site walks, and ongoing performance tracking with internal teams and vendors.

100%

Every member of our facilities staff has undergone first aid training.

Site Safety Walks.

We conduct Site Safety walks with leadership and key personnel weekly to proactively identify possible safety risks.

Supporting Aussie Kids.

We’ve been a charity partner of United Way Australia for over 20 years.

United Way Australia is a community impact organisation, focused on creating better futures for Australian children through proven and targeted early childhood and youth employment initiatives. The charity runs programmes that support children’s literacy in underprivileged communities, including the Dolly Parton Imagination Library here in Australia.

Our big box ticks all of yours.

We don’t just meet the benchmarks in our industry. We set them.

Our experts stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends in global security and compliance so our clients don’t have to.
