For more than thirty years, our people have worked alongside United Way to give Australian kids a better start in life.

Macquarie Technology Group is a founding member of the Macquarie Park Business Community Partnership, a group of local businesses making a difference in the community where we work, not only where we live. Since 2013, we’ve worked side by side with our neighbours to improve the lives of children and families across the local area.

In the Ryde LGA alone, more than 1,000 children now receive a free book every month through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, funded by local events and workplace giving across the business community.

We don’t just talk about helping. Every year, people right across our business get stuck in, through fundraising, volunteering and mentoring.

Our team laces up for annual events like the Walkathon and the Community Cup soccer tournament. Together with workplace giving, these efforts raise tens of thousands of dollars for United Way programs every year.

We support United Way behind the scenes too, providing network solutions, IT services and office support so their team can focus on what they do best: helping kids and families.

Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

Bringing early childhood literacy to families across Australia. Through this United Way program, children from birth to age five receive a free book every month, so they arrive on their first day of school ready to learn. To date, the program has delivered more than one million books to Australian children.

The ambition we share with United Way is a simple one: that every Australian child learns to read, and grows up with the chance to learn and succeed.
